We recognise that teacher training, at the same time as being enjoyable and exciting, can also be very challenging. We pride ourselves on offering our trainees support and encouragement at every point along their journeys.
Your School based Mentor
Your mentor will be the person who works most closely with you on a day-to-day basis, carrying out your lesson observations, setting your training targets and helping to organise in-school training opportunities which will enhance and develop the your practice. All our Mentors are, themselves, given support, guidance and training throughout the year in our Mentor training sessions, but Partnership staff are always on hand at any time for queries from both Mentors and trainees.

Undergraduate Programme Leader – Tom Billingham
Tom leads the BAHons with QTS programme. He will provide support and coaching throughout your training year and leads a team of Professional Tutors who also teach you and provide support and coaching throughout the course. He will visit you in your home schools, as well as being available on training days for informal chats.
Undergraduate 1 Cohort Lead - Laura Woolridge
Laura brings over 10 years of experience in education, with the past six years dedicated to mentoring undergraduate and postgraduate trainees. Her passion for teaching is evident not only in her work with future educators but also in her ongoing role as a primary school teacher, where she inspires a love of learning in young children.
Undergraduate 2 Cohort Lead - Dan Marshall
Dan brings 18 years of teaching experience to his role. While continuing to teach Year 5 students, Dan has spent the past four years mentoring postgraduate trainees and training both undergraduate and postgraduate educators.
Dan is deeply passionate about education and thrives on the rewarding "light bulb moments" when his students and trainees grasp new concepts. His dedication to teaching is unwavering, and he is committed to shaping the future of education.
ITT Partnership Co-Ordinator – Jane Cole
Jane has been the ITT Partnership Co-Ordinator since we were first established as a training provider over 20 years ago. She is there for all your administrative queries, from making that first enquiry about teacher training, application and interview process student loans right through to your Graduation Day.
Business Support- Claire Kinnear
You may first see Claire during your interview , Claire works within the Administration, Finance and Operations team and covers Trainee application administration, Google account administration, support to the operational running of the training centres and Business Finance.
Head of Operations and Finance MKITT - Kate Carter
Kate leads of the Operations and Business Finance which includes the Operations of the Training centres, Health & Safety, Marketing, Provider compliance and Partnership Finance.
