Course Title: Assessment Only Route to QTS (in National or International settings)
If you’re an experienced teacher with a degree, you can achieve qualified teacher status (QTS) without having to do any further training. Assessment Only (AO) allows you to demonstrate that you already meet all of the standards for QTS, by presenting a detailed portfolio of evidence. Your teaching will be assessed in a school by us, as an accredited and approved AO provider.

- Currently employed as an unqualified teacher in a UK or BSO setting,
- AND who have already TAUGHT in at least two UK or BSO mainstream settings, typically for a minimum period of 2 years

Twelve calendar weeks (maximum).
What our graduates say...
Stephanie Reed (SCITT)
Training with TMA was a great experience, as it allowed me to be in the classroom, continuously practising the skills to be a teacher. This was supported by weekly training sessions, which not only continued to add to my knowledge of teaching and the world of education, but also to my practice.
It isn't always possible to put the Friday session straight into your classroom on Monday morning, nevertheless, I feel I now have a bank of resources and ideas that gradually have and will continued to be used. I met some amazing people from various backgrounds and made some great friends, which definitely made the initial stress and anxiety of training that little bit easier to handle!
