Course overview

Our primary postgraduate routes are School-Based Initial Teacher Training routes to Qualified Teacher Status, with or without a Post Graduate Certificate in Education (awarded in conjunction with University of Buckingham).

These courses allow you to specialise in age phases 3-7 or 5-11 and we offer full-time (11 month) or part-time (15 month) pathways.

Trainees on these routes will be placed in an SEND school as their base school, but will have to complete two 6 week placements in two different key stages in mainstream schools during the course of the programme,.
