Sarah Armitage

As Teaching School Manager (Early Years), Sarah is involved in developing and facilitating training for the Early Years sector across Milton Keynes offered by the MKTSA. This includes supporting and training the Early Years Cohort of trainees.


As part of the role, she oversees Early Years Initial Teacher Training and is involved in every level of the process from interview to training and assessment. If you are a prospective trainee teacher, Sarah will oversee your progress through the course and will work with you during your core training sessions.  Sarah also oversees the programme of Early Years CPD.


Background

Sarah has worked in Early Years for the past 14 years. She has worked as a teacher, a leader, an Assistant Principal and as an Early Years Consultant. She has extensive experience of supporting schools, pre-schools and nurseries, where she has worked closely with leaders, teachers and early years practitioners to raise standards and improve provision for children throughout the Early Years Foundation Stage. In Sarah’s current role she works across the Alliance and the Inspiring Futures through Learning MAT (IFtL) driving and supporting anything Early Years.
